Clarets set to continue good season at Watford

On Saturday afternoon, Watford host Burnley at Vicarage Road in a midtable Premier League clash.

The home side are currently 11th place in the top-flight table, despite a poor recent of form. Javi Gracia’s side has failed to win in their last three league games, losing twice and drawing once. However, a win could move the home into the top half of the table.

Last time out the Hornets drew 2-2 against Bournemouth at Vicarage Road. The game was the third in a row that the Hornets had conceded at least two goals in the Premier League.

One big positive of late for the Hornets of late is their home record. The home side has lost just one of their last seven home games in the league, having also won three out of their last four games at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets recent home games in the top-flight have been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last eight home games in the Premier League.

Burnley have hit a spot of form of late, winning their last three Premier League games. The recent good run of form has kept the Clarets seventh-place in the table and in with a possible chance of a European spot for next season.

Last time out Sean Dyche’s team recorded a 2-1 win at struggling West Brom. The victory saw the Clarets score two or more goals for the third league game in a row.

The visitors do not have a great away record of late in the Premier League, having won just two of their last nine games on their travels in the league. However, those two wins have been in their last two away games in the top-flight.

Forebet predicts that the visitors will record their third away win in a row on their travels in a high scoring encounter.
