On Saturday evening, reigning Premier League champions Chelsea host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, as the Blues look to return to winning ways.

Chelsea’s form has been poor of late in the Premier League, as Antonio Conte’s side have lost four of their last five games in the top-flight. The Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United in their last Premier League outing.

The Blues poor form has seen the champions slip to fifth-place, five points behind London rivals Tottenham who occupy fourth-place and the last Champions League spot.

Conte’s side have been involved in many high scoring games of late in the top-flight, with over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six league outings.

Despite their recent poor form, the Blues have won eight of their last ten home games in the Premier League. Conte’s side have also kept five clean sheets in their last six league games at Stamford Bridge.

Crystal Palace also heads into this game on the back of a six-game winless, which has seen the Eagles pick up two draws and suffer four defeats. Last time out, Roy Hodgson’s side suffered a 3-2 home defeat against Manchester United.

Both teams have scored in five of their last six league games. The Eagles have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight games in the top-flight.

The Eagles have won just two of their last 16 away games in the Premier League, including just once in their last five games on their travels in the top-flight. Both teams have scored in Palace’s last five games on the road in the Premier League.

Palace have won the last two meetings with Chelsea, including winning this fixture 2-1 last season.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will record a victory in this clash in a high scoring encounter.
