Troyes set to move away from trouble in Ligue One

On Tuesday night, struggling Ligue One outfit Troyes host Dijon at the Stade de l'Aube, as the home side looks to move away from the relegation zone.

The home side have won just two of their last seven games in Ligue One, suffering five defeats in the process, so it is no surprise that they are fighting against the drop. Jean Garcia’s side are currently 15th place in the French top-flight table, just a point clear of the relegation play-off spot and a further point clear of the relegation spots.

Last time out the home side recorded a potentially vital 1-0 home win over rock-bottom Metz to help their fight against the drop.

Troyes recent home form in Ligue One has not been too bad, as they have won five of their last seven games on home soil, including their last two games. The home side have also kept clean sheets in five of their last seven home games in the French top-flight.

Dijon are just two places and four points ahead of the hosts in the Ligue One table. A defeat could potentially drag the visitors into the relegation battle.

The visitor's form of late has been poor and Olivier Dall’Oglio’s side have won just two of their last seven games in the French top-flight. Although both of those wins have been in their last three league outings. A two-game winning run came to an abrupt end last time out, as they suffered a 4-0 defeat in Monaco.

Dijon’s recent Ligue One games have been high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in 12 of their last 13 outings in Ligue One.

The visitors have a woeful recent away record in Ligue One, as they have lost their last seven away games in the French top-flight. They have also conceded two or more goals in their last six games on their travels in Ligue One.

Forebet predicts that Troyes will record a vital victory and cut the gap on the teams above them in the table, including Tuesday’s visitors.
