Liverpool set for a comfortable victory in South Wales

On Monday night, relegation-threatened Swansea City host in-form Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League.

Swansea are currently bottom of the Premier League table, six points away from the safety of 17th place. The Swans recent form has been mixed and last time out in the English top-flight Carlos Carvalhal’s side drew 1-1 at Newcastle. The result did little for their position in the table.

Just two wins in their last 15 games in the Premier League have been a major contributing factor to the Swans poor position in the league table.

The home side’s home form in the English top-flight has been poor of late, as they have won just one of their last seven league games at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans have also failed to score in four of their last six home games in the Premier League.

Liverpool heads into this game in form that is completely contrasting to the home sides. The Reds have now won their last five games in all competitions, while also scoring two or more goals in their last seven outings in all competitions.

When it comes to the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp’s side have won five of their last six games, while also scoring two or more goals in their last six league outings.

The Reds recent away form in the English top-flight has been very strong, as the Merseysiders have won five of their last six games on their travels. Klopp’s team have also scored two or more in their last six league games on the road.

Last time out, the visitors recorded a 4-3 victory over league leaders Manchester City to end the Citizens unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Unsurprisingly considering the two team’s current form, Forebet predicts that Liverpool will record a comfortable victory at the Liberty Stadium.
