Tottenham have hit form in the Premier League of late and on Sunday Mauricio Pochettino’s side travels to struggling Southampton in the top-flight.

Southampton’s recent form has been poor and that negative form has led to the Saints slipping to 17th place in the top-flight table, just one point above the relegation zone.

The Saints have failed to win any of their last ten games in the league, picking up five draws and suffering five defeats in the process. Last time out, the south coast side threw away a two-goal lead at Watford to draw 2-2. The home side have endured defensive problems of late, as they have now conceded two or more goals in three of their last four league outings.

Pellegrino’s side have had problems winning at home this season. In fact, the Saints have won just two of their last ten outings at St Marys in the league, while failing to win in their last four league games on home soil.

Tottenham have hit form of late in the Premier League. The team from north London are currently fifth-place in the table. However, they trail third and fourth Liverpool and Chelsea respectively by just a point. With Liverpool playing on Monday night, the visitors could move back into the top-four with a win in this clash.

An away win is very likely, as Pochettino’ team have won four of their last five games in the league. Spurs have also been prolific in recent games too, scoring two or more goals in four of their last five Premier League games.

Tottenham have won their last two away games in the Premier League, but prior to those wins, they were on a five-game winless run on their travels in the top-flight.

Forebet predicts that Tottenham are set to record a comfortable victory in a high scoring game on the south coast.
