On Saturday afternoon, West Ham and Bournemouth go head-to-head at the London Stadium, in a game that could prove crucial at the bottom of the Premier League.

West Ham’s form has improved of late in the Premier League, as the Irons are now four-games unbeaten in the English top-flight. The recent good run of form has moved David Moyes side up to 11th place in the table.

However, the side from the capital are still just five points clear of the relegation zone. A win in this game could prove crucial in putting some much-needed space between the Irons and the bottom three.

Last time out in the top-flight, the home side recorded a 4-1 win at Huddersfield Town, with Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini influential in the victory.

The Hammers recent home games in the top-flight have yielded mixed results of late. However, they have lost just one of their last five games in the Premier League at the London Stadium and won their last league home game 2-1 against West Brom.

Bournemouth will kick-off this game just a point behind the Hammers in the table in 13th place. Like the home side, the Cherries are not clear of the relegation zone just yet.

However, Eddie Howe’s side are now unbeaten in four Premier League games heading to the capital. Last time out in the top-flight, the Cherries recorded a 2-1 home win against Arsenal.

The game was in keeping with the visitor’s recent high scoring league games, as it was their sixth consecutive game that had produced over 2.5 goals in the top-flight.

One major negative of late for Howe’s team is their away record in the Premier League. The Cherries have failed to win in their last five games on their travels in the league.

These two teams are well matched in the table. Forebet predicts that they will also be well matched on Saturday with the game resulting in a draw.
