On Sunday evening, Dortmund host Wolfsburg at the Signal Iduna Park in the Bundesliga, as the home side look to continue their recent winning run in the German top-flight.

Dortmund looks to be back on track in the Bundesliga under Austrian boss Peter Stoger after consecutive victories in the German top-flight. Prior to the winter break, BVB recorded a 2-1 win over Hoffenheim.

The home side are now back in the Champions League spots, currently third in the table, two points behind second-place Schalke, but a massive 16 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.

Rather unusually for Dortmund, their recent form at home has been poor in the Bundesliga. In fact, they had lost three of their previous four games heading into the home game with Hoffenheim, so a victory will have come as a relief for everybody connected with the club.

Dortmund have won their last five meetings with the visitors in all competitions, scoring two or more goals in all five victories.

Despite their recent poor run of form on home soil, their Bundesliga home games have remained high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in nine of their last ten outings.

Wolfsburg have been highly inconsistent in the Bundesliga this season. The Wolves have won just two of their last 15 games in the German top-flight. However, ten of those games have finished in draws, which is why the visitors are 12th place and not in the relegation zone.

The Wolves recent Bundesliga games have been low scoring, with the under 2.5 goals scored in their last three league games. The visitors have not won in their last seven away games in the German top-flight. In their last Bundesliga outing, the visitors suffered a 1-0 defeat at rock bottom Koln.

Forebet predicts that Dortmund will record a victory in a high scoring game to continue their positive run of form in the Bundesliga.
