Manchester City will be hosting Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday, this is another big game that every Premier League fan has been looking forward to since the season started. Now it is here!

This match will absolutely be a challenge Man City will be relishing considering what Tottenham did to them last season, beating them at the White Hart Lane by 2-0 and escaping with a 2-2 draw at the Etihad.

There's no better time for City to beat Tottenham than now that everyone really fears them.

Tottenham have had a great challenge this season, especially with their adaptation to the Wembley Stadium they chose to use this season as their home ground while they build their new stadium. But it seems they are slowly coming back to their usual self, a victory against Brighton took them to fourth position, that win surely will give them enough courage they needed to face the league leaders.

The rivalry between Pep and Pochettino might not be similar to the Pep and Mourinho rivalry created by the media but there is certainly a tactical rivalry between these two which started in Spain, Pep was Barca’s coach while Pochettino was with their city rival, Espanyol.

Pochettino produced a tactical masterclass that saw Spurs become the first team to stop City from scoring and, more importantly, the first to win against it. That game set off a run of five without a win for City, which allowed Chelsea the chance to take top spot in the Premier League, a position it stayed in until the end of the season.

What sort of game will it be for Kyle Walker, facing his old side for the first time since his move to the Etihad Stadium. Walker's move was accelerated when Pochettino chose to pick Trippier ahead of him even while he is still one of the best right backs in the world. Will he evoke his pain on Tottenham? We will get to know on Saturday.

Man City have beaten every team presently in the top half of the table except Everton who they drew and Tottenham that they are about to play against on Saturday.

City have won 15 of their opening 16 league games, only dropping points in a draw with Everton, and hold an 11-point lead over second-placed Manchester United.

Tottenham have not lost at the Etihad Stadium in their last three trips, taking two wins and a draw.

City are 18 points above Tottenham just after 16 games.

Tottenham were the first team to beat Man City last season, will they be the one to do it again this season. We can't wait for Saturday!!!
