On Monday night, Real Betis host Levante at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in La Liga, as the home look to end Levante’s unbeaten record in the Spanish top-flight this season.

Real Betis have made a decent start to their campaign in La Liga, picking up nine points from a possible 15 in the Spanish top-flight. The Sevilla outfit have recorded victories over Celta Vigo and Deportivo La Coruna and most impressively Real Madrid.

A 1-0 win at reigning champions Real Madrid last time out was a major achievement, as the Spanish champions had not failed to score in 73 games. However, Betis will need to put that game out of their mind to avoid any complacency in this clash.

Their home form in La Liga has been decent of late, though, as they have recorded three wins in their last five league games on home soil and suffered just one defeat. The home side are also unbeaten in six games against Levante in all competitions, recording four wins and two draws.

Levante are enjoying a fruitful campaign so far in Liga after promotion from the Segunda last season. The Valencia-based visitors have recorded two wins and three draws this season, as they look to stay clear of the relegation zone this time around in La Liga.

Arguably, Levante’s best result of the campaign so far was probably a 1-1 draw at Real Madrid. Considering the visitors had lost their previous five games on their travels it was a big result for the new boys.

Levante’s away record in La Liga stretching back to their last spell is very poor, as they have failed to record a victory in their last 14 away games. However, this Levante team seems to be a very different to the one that suffered relegation, so they will feel confident of improving that poor away record.

However, Forebet predicts that Real Betis will record a home win and leapfrog their opponents in the La Liga table.
