Bayern Munich have dominated the Bundesliga in recent years and have started the new campaign with two wins out of two games. The Bavarians perfect start to their campaign in the German top-flight faces a test as they visit one of last season’s surprise packages Hoffenheim on Saturday evening.

The home side produced a strong campaign last season by finishing fourth in the Bundesliga table. Julian Nagelsmann team based last season’s high finish in the German top-flight on good home form, as they are now unbeaten in 18 in the Bundesliga on home soil.

They have also kept clean sheets in five of their last six games on home soil in the Bundesliga, so are difficult to break down. However, Bayern have been prolific in the Bundesliga of late, scoring two or more goals in six of their last seven outings in the German top-flight.

Hoffenheim have managed to collect four points from their first two league games. However, it will be difficult to add to their points against the reigning champions.

Germany international attacking midfielder Serge Gnabry on loan from Bayern will miss this clash due to injury.

One negative for the home side is that they have won just one of their last 19 meetings with Bayern in all competitions. That one win came in this fixture last season, though.

Bayern have recorded wins in their last six consecutive games in the Bundesliga, including wins over Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen in the first two league games of the campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team have won their last three away games in the Bundesliga, scoring 12 goals in the process. Die Bayern have also managed clean sheets in five of their last seven outings in the German top-flight.

This will not be an easy game for Bayern by any stretch of the imagination. However, Forebet predicts that the German champions will continue their hundred per cent record in the Bundesliga.
