Coritiba and Vitoria to end in stalemate

On Tuesday, Coritiba hosts Vitoria at the Estadio Major Antonio Couto Pereira in the Brazilian Serie A, as both teams look to move away from the relegation zone.
Both teams have endured tough seasons so far, with the home side currently 15th in the table and the visitor’s 19th place. Both sides are in big need of a victory.
Coritiba are just a point outside of the relegation zone after a mixed run of results in Serie A of late. Last time out the home side earned a creditable goalless draw against highly flying Santos on home soil.
Marcelo Oliveira’s team will be hoping to build on that draw with three points against the struggling visitors. Coritiba’s recent games in Serie A have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five outings.

Vitoria head into this game second from bottom in the Brazilian top-flight. Even a victory may not be enough to take the visitors out of the dreaded relegation zone.
Despite their lowly position in the Brazilian top-flight, Vagner Mancini’s side have won three of their last four league games and lost just once in their last five league outings. Their recent games have been low scoring with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five games in the league.
Vitoria are unbeaten in five away games in Serie A and have actually won three of their last five games on their travels.
This game could be a very tight one, with both sides involved in low scoring encounters of late. Forebet predicts that this game will end in a draw.
