Orlando to add to Salt Lake’s recent misery

Two out-of-form teams meet on Saturday in the MLS, as Real Salt Lake host Orlando City, as both sides attempt to end poor recent runs of form.
Real Salt Lake are 10th in the Western Conference table and just a point above bottom of the table Colorado Rapids. However, due to the congested nature of the table, Mike Petke’s side are only five behind LA Galaxy who occupy the last play-off spot.
Petke’s side have struggled for form in recent MLS games, suffering defeats in three of their last four games in the American top-flight. They have also conceded two or more goals in all three of those defeats. The team from Utah have also suffered defeats in eight of their last 11 MLS games.
One positive note for the home side is that they have won their last three MLS games on home soil, including 1-0 wins over Philadelphia Union, and Minnesota United last time out.
Orlando currently sits fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, despite a relatively poor run of form of late. Jason Kreis team have won just one of their last 11 games in MLS. They have also failed to win any of their last four games in MLS, having drawn three times and lost once.
One of Orlando’s biggest problems of late in MLS has been scoring goals, as the visitors have failed to score in five of their last seven games in the US top-flight.
Their recent away record has also contributed heavily to their poor form, as they have failed to win in six games on the road in MLS, suffering four defeats in the process, including a 4-0 hammering at Chicago Fire last time out.
Both sides are out-of-form of late, but Forebet predicts that Orlando should just have enough to take home maximum points from their trip to Utah.
