Eagles to boost survival hopes with a win over the Foxes

Crystal Palace’s recent form has seen the Eagles move away from the Premier League relegation zone. Sam Allardyce’s side can move further clear of the drop zone on Saturday, as they welcome Leicester City to Selhurst Park.

This clash seems like a perfect one for the Eagles to continue their recent good form. The Foxes are likely to name a much-changed team with the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Atletico Madrid next Tuesday night.

The Foxes have now suffered consecutive defeats at Everton and at Atletico in the Champions League last time out. Prior to those defeats, though the Foxes were in form recording six consecutive victories. That form has no doubt been affected by the changes to their starting line-up, though.

Palace’s recent good form has seen the Eagles pick-up five wins from their last six Premier League outings. Allardyce’s side has won their last three home games in the top-flight, keeping clean sheets in all three victories, including in their last Premier League outing a 3-0 win over Arsenal.

The Eagles recent good form has moved them six points clear of the relegation zone. A win over Leicester would see the Eagles leapfrog the reigning English champions in the table.

Eagles winger Wilfried Zaha has hit form of late and has scored twice and provided three assists in his last five Premier League appearances. Striker Christian Benteke has also scored twice and produced an assist in his last three top-flight appearances.

Leicester’s recent away record is poor in the Premier League, as the Foxes have suffered defeat in four of their last five league games on their travels. The Foxes have scored five times in their last two away games, despite that poor away record.

Forebet predicts that Palace’s good run of form will continue in this clash and the Eagles will move further clear of the top-flight’s relegation zone.
