Tottenham will look to keep their hopes of winning the Premier League alive on Saturday lunchtime as they welcome Watford to White Hart Lane.

Spurs look to be back in the title race as the last few weeks has seen the gap between the second-place north Londoners and leaders Chelsea cut to seven points. A win in this clash could enhance their slim chances of winning the Premier League this season.

Tottenham certainly head into this clash in high spirits after a late 3-1 win at relegation-threatened Swansea in midweek. The win means Spurs are now eight games unbeaten in all competitions, recording six straight wins in the process.

On home soil Mauricio Pochettino’s team are a force to be reckoned with and have won their last ten straight home games in the league, including games against Chelsea and Everton.

Nine of those home games have seen Spurs scoring at least twice, so Watford will have their work cut out keeping the home side from scoring in this clash.

Watford have moved into the top half of the table after consecutive wins over Sunderland and West Brom. Despite the Hornets form looking to have turned around in recent games their away record will be a worry heading into this game.

Walter Mazzarri’s team have won just one of their last ten away games in the top-flight, which does not bode well for an away win in this one, especially given Tottenham’s strong home form this season.

The Hornets have kept consecutive clean sheets, but both of those were on home soil. Their defence has been highly suspect on their travels, as the Hornets have conceded at least two goals in six of their last nine away games in the league.

The trends and Forebet predict that Tottenham will record a win in this clash and keep the Premier League title race alive.
