Burnley have been outstanding on home soil this season in the Premier League. The Clarets home form has all but sealed the Lancashire’s clubs place in the top-flight next season.

Sean Dyche’s team have won five of their last six home games in the top-flight. However, a five-game winning home run at Turf Moor was ended in their last league game by a 1-1 draw against league leaders Chelsea.

The Clarets stellar home record will be given a big test by the visit of Tottenham on Saturday afternoon. Despite their impressive recent home record, Burnley have failed to win any of their last six outings in the Premier League table.

The poor run has seen Sean Dyche’s team slip to 13th place in the table and eight points clear of the relegation zone. The Clarets are unlikely to be dragged into the fight for survival, but the team from Lancashire are still in need of a couple more wins to secure their top-flight status.

However, second place Spurs represent a difficult opponent for the home side. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have lost just once in their last 13 Premier League games and have won their last three league outings.

Despite their lofty position in the English top-flight table, Spurs have failed to win in their last three away games, drawing twice and losing once. The visitors have also failed to score in their last two away outings. The absence of star striker Harry Kane may well affect the visitors attacking threat.

However, attacking midfielders Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen seem to have stepped up their game in the absence of Kane. Both stars scored in Spurs 2-1 win over Southampton in their last Premier League outing.

Forebet predicts that Tottenham will come out on top in this clash and dent Burnley’s stellar recent home record in the top-flight.
