Chelsea head to the London Stadium to face West Ham on Monday night in the Premier League, as the Blues look to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

League leaders Chelsea are ten points clear at the top of the table and that lead could be extended depending on Sunday’s results. The Blues form in recent months has been outstanding, winning 17 of their last 20 games in the top-flight.

Antonio Conte’s side look like champions-elect and seem to be impossible to catch at the top of the table. One ray of hope for West Ham could be the fact that the Blues have won just one of their last four away games in the top-flight.

Conte’s side have drawn their last two away games in the league. Their away games in the Premier League have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six games.

West Ham have won this fixture in the last two seasons, so the Hammers do have a history of winning this game.

The Hammers start this game in 11th position in the Premier League. Slaven Bilic’s side have lost just one of their last six Premier League games. However, West Ham’s recent home record in the top-flight is not great, as they have won just one of their last four games on home soil.

A key to how much of a threat West Ham will be to the usually solid Chelsea defensive will be if England striker Andy Carroll recovers from injury. The 28-year-old is a threat to any defence but is currently doubtful with a groin problem.

Chelsea have the second best defence in the top-flight this season, so his presence on the pitch for the Irons could be a major boost. Forebet predicts that Chelsea will record a victory and end that short poor run of form at West Ham.
