Burnley are certainly trying to live up to the old adage about winning home games to avoid relegation. The Clarets have been superb on home turf this season in the Premier League, winning their last four games at Turf Moor.

On Tuesday night, Sean Dyche’s team welcome reigning Premier League champions Leicester City to Turf Moor. The Clarets have to fancy their chances of recording a fifth straight home league win against the struggling Foxes.

Overall Burnley have won six consecutive games at Turf Moor, keeping four clean sheets in those victories. Dyche’s side are definitely tough opposition on their home patch and their stellar home form means the Clarets are ten points clear of the relegation zone in 13th position in the top-flight.

Champions Leicester are two positions and five points behind their hosts in the table, just five points clear of the top-flight danger zone. The Foxes have experienced a torrid Premier League campaign and are in desperate need of a win to move them away from the drop zone.

Claudio Ranieri’s side have won just once in their last seven Premier League outings and have looked like anything but reigning champions. The Foxes away record in the top-flight is also poor, as they have now not won any of their last 13 league games away from home.

A big issue for Leicester on their travels in the league has been scoring goals. The side from the Midlands have scored just two goals in their last four away games in the top-flight, failing to find the net in three of those four games.

In normal circumstances, a trip to Burnley would not be regarded as a daunting one. However, due to the Clarets superb home form of late, this could be a difficult trip. Forebet predicts that Burnley will secure another vital victory and move a step closer to ensuring their Premier League place for next season.
