AC Milan will look to boost their bid for a place in the Champions League next season, as the Rossoneri visit Torino’s Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Monday night.

The home side head into this clash ninth-place in the Serie A table after a poor run of form of late. In fact, Torino have recorded just one win in their last six outings in all competitions. Last time out the home side suffered a Coppa Italia 2-1 defeat at AC Milan on Thursday.

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team drew 0-0 at Sassuolo in their last Serie A game. Despite a poor run of form, the home side could move to within four points of the Rossoneri in the table.

Torino’s recent games have been high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven outings in all competitions, including that cup defeat against Milan.

AC Milan are currently fifth place in the Italian top-flight and currently two points behind third-place Napoli, who occupy the last Champions League spot. Vincenzo Montella’s team recorded a 1-0 win at home against Cagliari in Serie A in their last league outing.

Milan have been involved in a lot of low-scoring games of late in all competitions, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five games in all competitions. The Rossoneri have also kept clean sheets in three of their last five outings in all competitions.

In fact, only the top two teams in the league Juventus and Roma have conceded fewer goals this season. Montella’s team have failed to score in just three of their last 15 outings in all competitions, so they are pretty effective in front of goal.

Forebet predicts that AC Milan will record a win in Turin and boost their chances of earning a top-four spot this season.
