Crystal Palace host London rivals Chelsea at Selhurst Park on Saturday in the Premier League, with the home side attempting to halt the Blues long winning run.

Chelsea recorded their tenth consecutive Premier League victory at Sunderland on Wednesday night, with midfielder scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win. It was not Chelsea at their best, but Antonio Conte’s side once again ground out a victory to move six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Crystal Palace have endured mixed fortunes of late and suffered a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United on Wednesday night, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbing a late winner for the Red Devils.

The defeat means that Alan Pardew’s side have recorded just six wins in their last 37 Premier League games. In fact, the Eagles have lost seven of their last nine top-flight games, so they do not look best placed to end the Blues excellent run of form in the Premier League.

Chelsea’s form has been formidable of late and Conte’s side have now won their last five away games in the Premier League. The Blues have also lost just one of their last nine games on their travels in the top-flight.

They have also won 13 of their last 16 games in the Premier League. It is fair to say they travel to Selhurst Park in confident mood.

The Blues Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard missed the trip to Sunderland through injury and is once again a doubt for the trip to Palace. The former-Lille star has been in good form this season, so everybody connected with the club will hope he recovers from injury in time to feature in this one.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will record another victory at Selhurst Park to continue their fine run of form in the Premier League.
