Fantasy Premier League returns with a Friday night clash this week. That means the Gameweek 11 deadline is 18:30 (GMT) on Friday, October 14, 1.5 hours before Brentford host Brighton.

With the action on the horizon, it’s time to take a look at the best FPL players for Gameweek 11. First, let’s check out the fixtures.

  • Brentford vs. Brighton
  • Leicester vs. Crystal Palace
  • Wolves vs. Nottm Forest
  • Fulham vs. Bournemouth
  • Tottenham vs. Everton
  • Southampton vs. West Ham
  • Man Utd vs. Newcastle
  • Leeds vs. Arsenal
  • Aston Villa vs. Chelsea
  • Liverpool vs. Man City

Liverpool vs. Man City headlines GW11, with the struggling Reds hosting Pep Guardiola’s side on Sunday. Before that, Everton visit Tottenham, Man Utd host Newcastle and Leeds entertain Arsenal.

Are you ready to discover the best players for FPL GW11? Let’s get this show on the road!

Goalkeepers

There are no standout goalkeepers in FPL at the moment, with a lack of consistent points in that department. Nick Pope (Newcastle), Jose Sa (Wolves) and Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) are the only goalkeepers to have picked up 40+ points this season.

Looking at the fixtures, Sa and Lloris are good options for this weekend. Bernd Leno (Fulham) could also prove to be shrewd pick, given that Bournemouth are among the league’s lowest scorers.

Defenders

Joao Cancelo (Man City) and Ashley Young (Aston Villa) were the standout defenders in the previous round, collecting 18 and 11 points, respectively. Kalidou Koulibaly (Chelsea) and Cristian Romero (Tottenham) also impressed.

“Big at the back” appears to be a thing of the past, meaning it could be worth opting for solid budget defenders. Fabian Schar (Newcastle), Ben White (Arsenal) and Conor Coady (Everton) all fall into that category.

Midfielders

Phil Foden (Man City) and Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) are the highest-scoring midfielders in the game, followed by Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal) and Bukayo Saka (Arsenal). However, Man City and Arsenal blank in Gameweek 12.

FPL managers looks for replacements for their Man City and Arsenal assets could turn to in-form midfielders such as Leandro Trossard (Brighton), James Maddison (Leicester) and Miguel Almiron (Newcastle).

Forwards

Erling Haaland added to his phenomenal tally last weekend, netting his 15th goal in nine Premier League appearances. But with Man City blanking in GW12, people will be looking for a temporary replacement.

Harry Kane (Tottenham) is the obvious Haaland replacement. With Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) an injury doubt, Ivan Toney (Brentford) and Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) are also worth considering.
