There is another full round of midweek Premier League fixtures on the horizon, with FPL Gameweek 21 giving us more opportunities to pick up points.

The Gameweek 21 deadline is 11:00 (GMT) on Saturday, January 30. Let’s check out the fixture before looking at the top picks.

• Everton vs. Newcastle

• Crystal Palace vs. Wolves

• Manchester City vs. Sheffield United

• West Brom vs. Fulham

• Arsenal vs. Manchester United

• Southampton vs. Aston Villa

• Chelsea vs. Burnley

• Leicester vs. Leeds

• West Ham vs. Liverpool

• Brighton vs. Tottenham

Arsenal host Manchester United in the tie of the round, while first-place Man City welcome last-place Sheff Utd to the Etihad.

Relegation strugglers West Brom and Fulham meet at the Hawthorns, while new-look Chelsea host in-form Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

Goalkeepers

Ederson (Manchester City) has no overtaken Emi Martinez (Aston Villa) on the clean sheet leaderboard. The Man City goalkeeper has kept 11 clean sheets in 18 games this term (61.1%), with Pep Guardiola’s side facing low-scoring Sheff Utd next

Burnley are the second-lowest scorers in the league, making Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) a sensible pick for Gameweek 21. Alphonse Areola (Fulham) and Sam Johnstone (West Brom) could cancel each other out on Saturday.

Defenders

Man City defender are popular picks at the moment – and with good reason. Joao Cancelo scored and kept a clean sheet last time out, while Ruben Dias and John Stones have also excelled of late.

Wolves also achieved a shutout in the previous round. With low-scoring Crystal Palace up next for Nuno’s men, Willy Boly, Conor Coady, Max Kilman and Nelson Semedo are all worth considering.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) appears to be getting back to his best, bagging a goal and an assist against Spurs on Thursday. Craig Dawson (West Ham) has also popped up with a couple of important goals in recent weeks.

Midfielders

Thomas Soucek (West Ham) and Ilkay Gundogan (Man City) both netted a brace in the previous round, with Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Dwight McNeil (Burnley) and Raphina (Leeds) also getting on the scoresheet.

Man City wingers Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are all expected to enjoy huge success against Sheff Utd on Saturday.

If you’re looking for a budget midfield option, Miguel Almiron (Newcastle) and Stuart Armstrong (Southampton) are both in good form at the moment.

Forwards

Harry Kane (Tottenham) looks set to miss Gameweek 21 after coming off at half-time with an injury against Liverpool. Jamie Vardy (Leicester) is also currently sidelined.

Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal) maintained his seemingly unstoppable goalscoring form in the previous round, while Chris Wood (Burnley), Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) all returned to scoring way.
