Fantasy Premier League managers have a small Double Gameweek to look forward to, with Newcastle and Brighton playing twice during the upcoming round.

Double Gameweek 36 gets underway on Saturday, May 13, with Leeds hosting Newcastle in the early kick-off. With the deadline set for 11:00 (BST), it’s time for FPL managers to spring into action.

Fixtures

  • Leeds vs. Newcastle
  • Southampton vs. Fulham
  • Chelsea vs. Nottm Forest
  • Aston Villa vs. Tottenham
  • Man Utd vs. Wolves
  • Crystal Palace vs. Bournemouth
  • Everton vs. Man City
  • Brentford vs. West Ham
  • Arsenal vs. Brighton
  • Leicester vs. Liverpool
  • Newcastle vs. Brighton

As you can see, Chelsea, Man Utd, Brentford and Arsenal have favourable home fixtures on the horizon, while Newcastle, Fulham, Man City and Liverpool are expected to enjoy success on their travels this weekend.

The Double Gameweek fixture comes next Thursday, as Newcastle welcome Brighton to St. James’ Park for what promises to be a thrilling encounter in the race for European football. Here are the best players for FPL DGW36.

Goalkeepers

Nick Pope (Newcastle) and Jason Steele (Brighton) are the only goalkeepers playing twice in DGW36. It is worth noting that only David De Gea (Man Utd) has kept more clean sheets than Pope this season.

Other goalkeepers with high potential in DGW36 include Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea), David Raya (Brentford) and Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), who all have attractive clean sheet odds this weekend.

Defenders

In terms of Double Gameweek defenders, the best options are Kieran Trippier (Newcastle), Fabian Schar (Newcastle), Sven Botman (Newcastle), Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) and Lewis Dunk (Brighton).

Elsewhere, Luke Shaw (Man Utd), John Stones (Man City), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa) and Pedro Porro (Tottenham) all have the potential to pick up plenty of points in DGW36.

Midfielders

Let’s start with the best DGW midfielders. Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) and Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton) are the best Brighton options, while Miguel Almiron (Newcastle) and Joe Willock (Newcastle) are arguably the best Newcastle midfielders.

Having bagged 12 goals and three assists in his last 15 league appearances, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) could run riot against struggling Leicester. Martin Odegaard (Arsenal), Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottm Forest) and Dwight McNeil (Everton) are also in fine form.

Forwards

Boasting 259 and 233 points, respectively, Erling Haaland (Man City) and Harry Kane (Tottenham) have been unstoppable this season. Diogo Jota (Liverpool), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Ivan Toney (Brentford) are also great picks.

There are also plenty of options when it comes to Double Gameweek forwards. Callum Wilson (Newcastle) and Alexander Isak (Newcastle) are both in good form, along with Danny Welbeck (Brighton) and Evan Ferguson (Brighton).
