Fantasy Premier League returns this week following the FA Cup fourth round. Gameweek 22 kicks off with Chelsea hosting Fulham on Friday, meaning the deadline is set for 18:30 (GMT) on February 3.

Gameweek 22 is also a Double Gameweek for Manchester United and Leeds United, with Man Utd facing Crystal Palace and Leeds facing Nottingham Forest before the two sides meet at Old Trafford next Wednesday.

Before we get stuck into the best players for FPL Gameweek 22, he is the fixture list in full.

  • Chelsea vs. Fulham
  • Everton vs. Arsenal
  • Brighton vs. Bournemouth
  • Man Utd vs. Crystal Palace
  • Brentford vs. Southampton
  • Wolves vs. Liverpool
  • Aston Villa vs. Leicester
  • Newcastle vs. West Ham
  • Nottm Forest vs. Leeds
  • Tottenham vs. Man City
  • Man Utd vs. Leeds

Now that you’re up to speed on the fixture, it’s time to go over the best FPL players for Gameweek 22.

Goalkeepers

David De Gea (Man Utd) is likely to be a popular pick for the Double Gameweek, while some FPL managers will be keen to take a punt on the differential option of Illan Meslier (Leeds).

In terms of teams that play once in GW22, Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Robert Sanchez (Brighton) and Nick Pope (Newcastle) stand the best chance of keeping a clean sheet this weekend.

Defenders

Luke Shaw (Man Utd) is arguably the best Double Gameweek defender, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Man Utd), Raphael Varane (Man Utd) and Pascal Struijk (Leeds) also expected to pick up a decent number of points.

Everton are the lowest scorers in the league, meaning Arsenal are likely to keep a clean sheet this weekend. For that reason, William Saliba (Arsenal), Gabriel (Arsenal) and Ben White (Arsenal) are all great picks.

Midfielders

Many FPL managers will be considering placing the Triple Captain chip on the in-form Marcus Rashford (Man Utd), while Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) is another viable option for the armband.

Having scored three goals in his last five appearances, Wilfried Gnonto (Leeds) could score big in GW22, as could Rodrigo (Leeds). Elsewhere, Martin Odegaard (Arsenal) is arguably the pick of the bunch when it comes to teams with one fixture.

Forwards

With Anthony Martail (Man Utd) sidelined due to injury, Wout Weghorst (Man Utd) is expected to lead the line for Red Devils. With three goals and two assists in his last four outings, Patrick Bamford (Leeds) is also a top pick.

Needless to say, Erling Haaland (Man City) has to be in your team, while Harry Kane (Tottenham), Ivan Toney (Brentford) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) invariably have the potential to post big scores.
