We have a midweek round of Premier League fixtures to enjoy this week, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to pick up more FPL points!

The bottom two – Newcastle and Norwich – get Gameweek 14 underway on Tuesday before Manchester United and Arsenal wrap up the round on Thursday.

Here is the Gameweek 14 schedule in full.

• Newcastle vs. Norwich

• Leeds vs. Crystal Palace

• Southampton vs. Leicester

• Wolves vs. Burnley

• Watford vs. Chelsea

• West Ham vs. Brighton

• Everton vs. Liverpool

• Aston Villa vs. Man City

• Tottenham vs. Brentford

• Man Utd vs. Arsenal

We also have the small matter of the Merseyside Derby to get our teeth into, so let’s take a look at the best FPL picks for Gameweek 14.

Goalkeepers

Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) continued to enhance his glowing reputation with another clean sheet in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Newcastle at the weekend.

The England international has kept six clean sheets in ten Premier League appearances this season, including three across his previous four outings.

There were also clean sheets for Alisson (Liverpool), Jose Sa (Wolves) and Robert Sanchez (Brighton) in Gameweek 13, the last of whom offers great value – priced at just £4.6m.

Defenders

Ramsdale’s team-mate Takehiro Tomiyasu (Arsenal) chipped in with an assist as well as picking up clean sheets points last time out. He is a great budget defender at only £4.6m.

Once again, Jurgen Klopp’s men dominated in defence in the previous round. Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Andy Robertson (Liverpool) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) claims 15, 12 and 9 points, respectively.

If you’re in the market for a differential defender, Ashley Young (Aston Villa), Marc Cucurella (Brighton), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace) and Tariq Lamptey (Brighton) are all worth considering.

Midfielders

James Maddison (Leicester) appears to be getting back to his best again. He bagged a goal and two assists in the Foxes’ 4-2 thrashing of Watford on Sunday, adding to his goal and assist in the Europa League last week.

In this absence of the injured Roberto Firmino (Liverpool), Diogo Jota (Liverpool) is almost guaranteed a starting berth. The ex-Wolves star netted a double as the Reds crushed Southampton 4-0 on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Ilkay Gundogan (Man City), Jadon Sancho (Man Utd) and John McGinn (Aston Villa) are among the most in-form midfielders in the game right now.

Forwards

Following four Premier League games without a goal, Jamie Vardy (Leicester) scored twice last time out. Only one man – Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – has netted more goals than the veteran Fox this term.

You can’t keep Emmanuel Dennis (Watford) out of the action at the moment. The Nigerian has notched three goals and four assists in his last four outings.

Alongside Dennis, Teemu Pukki (Norwich) and Adam Armstrong (Southampton) and great differential picks in terms of forwards. Ivan Toney (Brentford) and Josh King (Watford) are both in good form, too.
