Fantasy Premier League – Top Picks for FPL Gameweek 7
4030

FPL Gameweek 7 is the final round of Premier League fixtures before England’s top tier takes a two-week international break.

The table is starting to shape up nicely – and hopefully your fantasy team is, too! Gameweek 6 was a relatively low-scoring round, making Gamweek 7 all the more important.

Here are the Gameweek 7 fixtures.

• Manchester United vs. Everton

• Chelsea vs. Southampton

• Wolves vs. Newcastle

• Burnley vs. Norwich

• Leeds vs. Watford

• Brighton vs. Arsenal

• Tottenham vs. Aston Villa

• West Ham vs. Brentford

• Crystal Palace vs. Leicester

• Liverpool vs. Manchester City

Manchester United and Everton kick things off at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early game, before Liverpool and Manchester City wrap up Gameweek 7 on Sunday afternoon.

The transfer deadline is 11:00 (BST) on Saturday, October 2, so make sure you finalise your selections before then!

It’s time to check out the top FPL picks for Gameweek 7.

Goalkeepers

Ederson (Man City) kept his fifth clean sheet in six Premier League games last weekend. If you’re looking for a premium goalkeeper pick, look no further than him.

A shutout is also on the cards for Nick Pope (Burnley), who faces Norwich – the league’s lowest scorers – on Saturday.

With Karl Darlow (Newcastle) back between the sticks, the Magpies will fancy their chances of keeping clean sheet against low-scoring Wolves.

Defenders

With Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) and Luke Shaw (Man Utd) – two of the most popular defenders in the game – out injured, many FPL managers have a decision to make this week.

Bringing in a Man City defender might not seem like a bad idea, but it is worth noting that Pep Guardiola’s men come up against free-scoring Liverpool this weekend.

Thomas Tuchel’s side, on the other hand, face Southampton. With that in mind, Marcos Alonso (Chelsea), Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) and Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea) are all worth considering.

Midfielders

Gunners duo Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal) are likely to be in high demand in Gameweek 7 after lighting up last weekend’s North London Derby.

Toffess trio Abdoulaye Doucoure (Everton), Andros Townsend (Everton) and Demarai Gray (Everton) are also excellent budget midfield options.

Raphina (Leeds) returned to the side with a goal last weekend, while Ismaila Sarr (Watford) and Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) alos scored in the previous round.

Forwards

Popular choices such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Patrick Bamford (Leeds), Richarlison (Everton) and Callum Wilson (Newcastle) are sidelined through injury at the moment.

FPL managers may be tempted to go for less favorable forwards like Neal Maupay (Brighton), Emmanuel Dennis (Watford) and Teemu Pukki (Norwich) this weekend.

Michail Antonio (West Ham) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester) reaming the highest-scoring forwards in the game, having notched 47 and 40 points, respectively.
