Manchester City can move one step closer to sealing a Champions League spot for next season when Pep Guardiola’s side host Leicester at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.

City are currently fourth place in the Premier League table, four points clear of arch-rivals Manchester United. The Citizens hammered Crystal Palace 5-0 last time out in Premier League and have suffered just one defeat in their last 14 games in the top-flight.

The Citizens recent home form has also been good, as they are unbeaten in ten Premier League games on home soil. The Citizens have been relatively prolific on home soil in the top-flight of late, scoring two or more goals in seven of their last ten home games in the Premier League.

Guardiola’s side have been involved in a lot of high-scoring games of late, with over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven games in the Premier League. Only Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have scored more goals in the Premier League this season.

City have failed to beat Leicester in the last three meetings, with the Foxes winning the last two meetings between the two teams.

The Foxes have the chance to move up to eighth in the table with a win and have won their last two leagues games, as well as keeping clean sheets in both games. Craig Shakespeare’s side have been prolific in recent top-flight games, scoring two or more goals in eight of their last ten games.

Leicester have won just two of their last 20 away games in the Premier League, so it would be a major surprise if the Foxes recorded a win in Manchester. Those two wins have been in their last five away games, though, so their away form has improved of late.

Forebet predicts that Manchester City will record a victory in a high-scoring clash that will help aid the Citizens top-four challenge.
