Fantasy Premier League – Picks, Best Players and More for FPL Gameweek 35
1626

Believe it or not, we have just four Fantasy Premier League Gameweeks remaining this season. Gameweek 35 kicks off this Saturday, so it’s time for FPL managers to prepare their teams.

The Gameweek 35 deadline is set for 13:30 (BST), 90 minutes before the action gets underway. Before we look at the best players for FPL GW35, let’s check out the fixtures.

Fixtures

  • Bournemouth vs. Chelsea
  • Man City vs. Leeds
  • Wolves vs. Aston Villa
  • Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace
  • Liverpool vs. Brentford
  • Newcastle vs. Arsenal
  • West Ham vs. Man Utd
  • Fulham vs. Leicester
  • Brighton vs. Everton
  • Nottm Forest vs. Southampton

Manchester City and Brighton have favourable home fixtures against Leeds and Everton, respectively, while Aston Villa and Manchester United should enjoy success on their travels.

Newcastle’s clash with Arsenal is arguably the tie of the round, with goals expected at St. James’ Park. Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest and Southampton’s relegation six-pointer is destined to be eventful.

Without further ado, let’s go over the best FPL players for Gameweek 35, looking at the top performers in each position.

Goalkeepers

Jason Steele (Brighton) picked up 15 points in Double Gameweek 34, so the Seagulls stopper will be confident of scoring big against struggling Everton. Plus, Brighton still gave two Double Gameweeks to play!

Man City have the highest clean sheet odds for GW35, although Stefan Ortega (Man City) replaced Ederson (Man City) last time out. Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea), Alisson (Liverpool) and Keylor Navas (Nottm Forest) also have decent clean sheet odds.

Defenders

Pervis Estupinan (Brighton), Nathan Ake (Man City), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Caglar Soyuncu (Leicester) and Diogo Dalot (Man Utd) reached double figures in the previous round, highlighting their strong form.

With Chelsea struggling for goals, Adam Smith (Bournemouth) and Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth) could prove to be great differentials. Serge Aurier (Nottm Forest) and Renan Lodi (Nottm Forest) could also score big against lowly Southampton.

Midfielders

Having scored nine goals in his last 10 league appearances, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) is bang in form. Martin Odegaard (Arsenal) bagged a brace last time out, while Jefferson Lerma (Bournemouth) also netted a double.

Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) could return to face relegation-threatened Leeds, alongside Jack Grealish (Man City). Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton) and Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) are also great picks for GW35 and beyond.

Forwards

It goes without saying that Erling Haaland (Man City) is the best forward option in the game, but Julian Alvarez (Man City) is also worth considering. Harry Kane (Tottenham) is the only other forward with 200+ FPL points this season.

Other in-form strikers include Ivan Toney (Brentford), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Callum Wilson (Newcastle), Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth), Diogo Jota (Liverpool) and Danny Welbeck (Brighton).
