5. Romeo Lavia, Chelsea (€50m)

After coming through the ranks at Anderlecht, Romeo Lavia joined Manchester City’s academy in 2020. However, the Belgian made only two senior appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side before signing for Southampton.

Following a standout 2022-23 campaign, Lavia joined Chelsea for a reported initial fee of £53 million plus add-ons. Unfortunately, the defensive midfielder has played just one game for the Blues due to injury.

4. Warren Zaire-Emery, Paris Saint-Germain (€60m)

At 17, Warren Zaire-Emery is the second-youngest player on this list. Remarkably, though, Zaire-Emery has already made 50 senior appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, racking up five goals and five assists along the way.

Evan Ferguson may have only turned 19 in October, but he is already among the highest-rated strikers in the Premier League. In fact, the Brighton & Hove Albion starlet has scored 12 goals in 38 Premier League appearances so far.

After netting six league goals during the previous campaign, Ferguson bagged a hat-trick against Newcastle United earlier this season. Plus, the Irishman has already scored three goals for his country.

Boasting an estimated market value of €90 million, Gavi finds himself miles clear at the summit of this list. Given what the Barcelona midfielder has already achieved, it’s difficult to believe that he is still a teenager.

The 19-year-old has chalked up 111 appearances for Barca, contributing seven goals and 14 assists for good measure. With 27 caps and five goals for Spain to his name, Gavi looks destined to enjoy a phenomenal career.
