Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 6 – Best Players, Fixtures and More
1085

We are getting further and further into the Fantasy Premier League season and managers are starting to think about their chip strategy. Some might even drop a wildcard for the upcoming Gameweek 6!

Whether it's really time to use this advantage or not, you need to consider all the factors such as form, games, injuries etc. Let’s have a quick look in the essential picks for both short and long term!

Goalkeepers

Thomas Flekken (Brentford) and Alphonse Areola (West Ham) will be a popular rotation as they are quite affordable in price. Nick Pope (Newcastle) is one of the premium GK to own as the fixtures looks great for his team and we saw some stunning saves from him. Bernd Leno (Fulham) is also one to consider as he is currently on top with Neto (Bournemouth) as the highest-scoring goalkeepers.

Defenders

Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) should return his place in the strating XI after being rested and remains one of the best defensive options. Managers will rush to get a Newcastle defender after their first clean sheet for the season against Brentford.

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) is the best pick but his price is high and it will be difficult to rotate other premium options with him. Sven Botman (Newcastle) looks as the best pick as he is cheap and provides some attacking threat this season.

Matty Cash (Aston Villa) can be a good long term investment as he offers so much attacking potential. You might want to have one of the two best scoring defenders- Christian Romero (Tottehnam) and  Destiny Udogie (Tottenham) as the fixtures in future look good for Spurs.

Midfielders

Spurs midfielders had a disappointing gameweek after blanking against Sheffield United but James Maddison (Tottenham) remains a good option as he is a set-piece threat and is pretty much nailed.

Bryan Mbuemo (Brentford) blanked for the first time but this should not mislead you as he is one of the best assets in FPL up to now. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) is the assist king this season and it will be matter of time to find the net and get a haul in the game so you might wan to bring him in to avoid any headaches.

However, his price remain high but you get pretty much what you pay for. Moussa Diaby (Aston Villa) looks like the most inform player in Emery’s squad while Karou Mitoma (Brighton) may be to one to stay away from De Zerbi’s rotation.

Forwards

Erling Haaland (Manchester City) missed a lot of chances as he was set up for a big haul. He remains the main capitancy option this week as Forest defence look so vulnerable.

A popular pick will be doubling City’s attack as Julian Alvarez (Manchester City) got into KDB’s role perfectly. Odsonne Edouard (Crystal Palace) and Taiwo Awoniyi (Nottingham Forest) are the best budget forwards to have.

The DEADLINE is Saturday at 13:30 UK Time, so be ready!
