Fantasy Premier League – Picks, Best Players and More for FPL Gameweek 30
1726

The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 30 deadline is set for 11:00 (BST) on Saturday, 8th April, 90 minutes before Manchester United and Everton lock horns in the early kick-off.

Accordingly, it’s time to discuss the best FPL players for Gameweek 30 and find the best team for the remainder of the season. Let’s start with the fixtures and work our way through the rest.

Fixtures

  • Man Utd vs. Everton
  • Aston Villa vs. Nottm Forest
  • Brentford vs. Newcastle
  • Fulham vs. West Ham
  • Wolves vs. Cheslea
  • Tottenham vs. Brighton
  • Leicester vs. Bournemouth
  • Southampton vs. Man City
  • Leeds vs. Crystal Palace
  • Liverpool vs. Arsenal

As you can see, Man Utd, Aston Villa and Fulham have favourable home fixtures, while Man City and Arsenal are expected to triumph on their travels against Southampton and Liverpool, respectively.

Leicester vs. Bournemouth and Leeds vs. Crystal Palace look set to have big implications on the relegation battle, meaning that FPL managers may want to steer clear of these fixtures.

Without further ado, here are the best players for FPL GW30.

Goalkeepers

Ederson (Man City), David De Gea (Man Utd) and Emi Martinez (Aston Villa) are most likely to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 30, as they all face low-scoring opponents this weekend.

Owned by just 2.8% of FPL managers, Jason Steele (Brighton) picked up 11 points in Double Gameweek 27 before bagging 10 points in the previous round, so he could prove to be a great differential.

Defenders

Nayef Aguerd (West Ham) and Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) were the highest-scoring defenders in the previous round, noting 15 and 14 points, respectively. Lisandro Martinez (Man Utd) and Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa) also reached double figures.

At this moment in time, John Stones (Man City) looks like the best Man City defender to target, as he has picked up 11 points across the last two Gameweeks and should enjoy plenty of success against lowly Southampton.

Midfielders

Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton), Joelinton (Newcastle) and Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) all bagged 13+ points in Double Gameweek 29, making them great midfield options for GW30 and beyond.

Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) and Jack Grealish (Man City) are among the league’s in-form players right now, along with Leandro Trossard (Arsenal), Jack Harrison (Leeds) and Allan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle).

Forwards

Having scored for the eighth time in 10 matches last time out, Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) is a must-have forward at the moment, especially with struggling Nottm Forest visiting Villa Park this weekend.

Harry Kane (Tottenham) has netted five goals in his last five league outings, while Evan Ferguson (Brighton) has also caught the eye of late. Plus, there is the small matter of Erling Haaland (Man City) returning from injury.
