Fiorentina Eyeing up Yet Another Semi-Final With a Trip to Viktoria Plzen

Viktoria Plzen and Fiorentina are back in Europa Conference League action this Thursday and Forebet is back for all the latest analysis, data, mathematics and statistics to figure out the win probability in our football predictions.

As expected, Fiorentina are heavy favourites to win this one, despite them shooting themselves right down the Serie A table since the group stages in the Europa Conference League.

The Serie A side now sit 10th in the league table and come into this game with 11 losses on the board after a defeat to Juventus last weekend.

They do, however, head into this one having beaten Atalanta in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals to take a 1-0 lead over to Bergamo at the end of this month.

Nevertheless, with a loss to AC Milan and draws with Roma and Torino, Fiorentina are now winless in Serie A for the past four games.

The last win for Fiorentina in the league came against Lazio, as Michael Kayode and Giacomo Bonaventura scored goals each in a comeback win at home.

In the Europa Conference League, the Florence side only narrowly edged out a two-legged win over Maccabi Haifa, as Fiorentina drew 1-1 with them at home after a thrilling 4-3 win away from Italy.

However, this does still mean they are unbeaten in Europe this season with wins over Genk, Cukaricki and two draws with Ferencvaros.

Ultimately, the data and probability of over 2.5 goals in Europe for Fiorentina is quite high, as they’ve managed to defeat Cukaricki 6-0 and have high-scoring draws with Ferencvaros.

As for Viktoria Plzen, they continue to sit behind the Prague giants in the Czech First League with the club down in third and behind Slavia Praha by 13 points and 12 behind Sparta Prague.

They did, however, manage to get themselves a win over Jablonec in the Czech Cup quarter-finals last time out, as Nemanja Tekijaski scored an own goal before finishes from Jan Kopic and Cheick Souare.

The Czech side only narrowly made it into the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League, however, as they had to beat Servette on penalties in the end after two goalless games across both legs.
