It is the game no nation wants to contest, the third/fourth place playoff but both teams will be determined to end their Copa America campaign on a high.
The match between Canada and Uruguay will be played on the 13th of July at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
This is the first time Canada have competed in the competition and they will be pleased to have reached the semi-finals. Uruguay have won the Copa America 15 times but this was the first time they have made the semi-finals since 2011.

The Canadians were the outsiders to win the match and fell a goal behind in the 22nd minute. Into the second half and Argentina doubled their advantage in the 51st minute to condemn Canada to the third/fourth playoff.
The defeat to Argentina was the first loss in 4 fixtures for Canada. They beat Peru 1-0 in the group stage of the Copa America and defeated Venezuela via a penalty shootout in the quarter-final. Canada also picked up a point in the group stage of the competition thanks to a 0-0 draw with Chile.
