Leicester will be looking to enhance their top-four bid when they visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Foxes currently sit fourth – one point behind third-place Chelsea and level with fifth-place Manchester United on 62 points.
Meanwhile, Tottenham find themselves seventh – one point behind sixth-place Wolves and one point ahead of eighth-place Sheffield United.
A win for Spurs would take them to within four points of Leicester, while a win for the Foxes would be huge for their Champions League ambitions.
It feels like Tottenham have started to discover some form lately. Jose Mourinho’s men only managed to win one of their three games after the restart, but they are now unbeaten in their last four.
Following a disappointing 3-1 loss to Sheff Utd, victories over Everton, Arsenal, and Newcastle, along with a draw against Bournemouth, have boosted the club’s Europa League chances.
Spurs will now be aiming to go five Premier League games unbeaten for the very first time this season, having only managed to go four games without a loss on two occasions prior.
On the other hand, Leicester have been wildly inconsistent since the lay-off, although a confident 2-0 win over Sheff Utd last time out will have pleased manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Foxes returned to action with back-to-back draws against relegation-strugglers Watford and Brighton before losing to Everton. A 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace followed, but a draw with Arsenal and a heavy defeat to Bournemouth saw the team stutter.
However, Leicester proved that they are capable of beating their fellow European chasers with a strong performance against Sheff Utd last time out.
Head-to-head: Leicester clinched a 2-1 victory over Spurs back in September, ending a run of three straight Tottenham wins in this fixture.
However, the recent head-to-head record between the two teams is very even. Across their previous seven league meetings, both sides have picked up three wins.
Team news: Tanguy Ndombele, Juan Foyth, Lucas Moura, and Dele Alli are all injury doubts for Tottenham, while Eric Dier will miss the rest of the season through suspension.
Meanwhile, Leicester have concerns over the fitness of Marc Albrighton, James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Christian Fuchs, and Daniel Amartey. Ricardo Pereira remains a long-term absentee.
With both sides needing to win to boost their respective European bids, this is likely to be a fairly open game with plenty of goalscoring opportunities.
Both teams are expected to get on the scoresheet, but the inconsistency of both teams makes it difficult to predict who will come out on top.
