Koln kicked off their return to the German top-flight by suffering a 2-1 defeat at Wolfsburg. The home side will be hoping to avoid the same fate this season that befell them in season 2017/18 when they suffered relegation.
They head into this tough clash on the back of an eight-game winless run in the German top-flight stretching back to last season of course.
Their recent home performances did not help their cause last time out in the Bundesliga, winning just three of their last 17 home games. That poor record does not bode well for a home win.
