Leeds United will be hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s humiliating 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool when Tottenham Hotspur visit Elland Road on Saturday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s boys sit fifteenth in the Premier League table – just three points clear of the relegation zone. Worse still, the three teams directly below have games in hand.

Meanwhile, Spurs find themselves eighth – 16 points ahead of Leeds and seven points shy of the top four.

Following Wednesday’s thrashing, Leeds head into Saturday’s clash on a three-game losing streak in the Premier League.

Bielsa’s side have only managed to win two of their previous ten league matches, registering one draw and seven defeats along the way.

Having conceded six goals last time out, Leeds now have the worst defensive record in the Premier League.

The Yorkshire outfit have conceded a whopping 56 goals in 25 games, meaning they have conceded at a rate of 2.24 goals per game.

If they carry on the way they’re going, Leeds could find themselves involved in the relegation battle that is starting to heat up at the foot of the table.

When Tottenham secured a hugely impressive 3-2 victory over Manchester City last weekend, things were looking good for Antonio Conte’s team.

However, they suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Burnley on Wednesday – despite seeing 66% possession at Turf Moor.

Spurs have now lost four of their last five Premier League games and have only managed to win four of their previous ten.

It is also worth pointing out that Tottenham have conceded over 1.5 goals in five of their past six league encounters.

Head-to-head: Tottenham beat Leeds 2-1 in the reverse fixture back in November, coming from behind to claim all three points in North London.

Since Leeds returned to the Premier League in 2020, Tottenham have claimed two wins in this fixture. Leeds won the other encounter at Elland last year.

Team news: Leeds still have a number of key players out injured, including Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente.

Tottenham’s injury list is less extensive, with Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga the only injury doubts for Conte to worry about.

Given the unpredictably of Leeds and Tottenham, this is destined to be a high-scoring clash with multiple goals at both ends of the pitch.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score over 1.5 goals on Saturday. However, Spurs are expected to claim all three points.
