Monday evening features this upcoming clash between Arouca and Maritimo in the Portuguese top flight at the Estádio Municipal de Arouca as the hosts look to climb out of their current relegation play-off spot.

Maritimo are without a league win in their last three matches in the Portuguese top flight but have lost just once as they draw 1-1 and 0-0 with Belenenses and Estoril either side of a 2-1 loss away at Porto.
Nevertheless, Maritimo will still feel confident about their chances of securing a result and adding to their points tally away from home at Arouca on Monday night as the visitors have lost just two of their last 10 matches overall in the Liga Portugal.
This improved sequence of results in the past couple of months has helped Maritimo maintain their position of relative safety in the domestic top flight as the visitors occupy 9th place and hold a comfortable seven-point cushion over their hosts, Arouca, prior to Monday night’s clash.
Results away from home continue to disappoint though as Maritimo have managed to collect just three wins on their travels throughout this season to date but the visitors have held the upper hand in recent exchanges against Arouca, winning two of the previous three meetings.
Maritimo are unbeaten in the last three meetings against Arouca and the visitors look the more likely for the points in this encounter.
