Saturday’s Round-Up

Lazio came from 0-3 down at half time to rescue a point against Atalanta. A brace from Luis Muriel and a goal from Papu Gomez put the visitors in complete control at the break. However, two second-half penalties from Ciro Immobile along with a Joaquin Correa strike meant the points were shared at Stadio Olimpico.

A goal either side of half time from Arkadiusz Milik ensured Napoli got the better of Hella Verona. The visitors had plenty of chances to get back into the game, but the hosts held on to claim all three points.

Juventus maintained their lead at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Bologna. Cristiana Ronaldo gave the Old Lady the lead on 19 minutes, only for Danilo Larangeira to level to score minutes later with a sweet strike. Miralem Pjanic sealed the victory for Juventus in the second half.

Super Sunday

Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku both bagged braces as Inter got the better of Sassuolo in a 7-goal thriller. Domenico Berardi, Filip Duricic and Jeremie Boga each got on the scoresheet for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Inter taking the points.

Another clean sheet for Udinese helped them to overcome Torino. The home side took the lead through Stefano Okaka, and this was the only goal of the game as Udinese ensured their impressive defensive record in Serie A remained intact.

Justin Kluivert was shown a red card late on as Sampdoria and Roma finished goalless, while a trademark thunder bolt from Radja Nainggolan helped Cagliari best SPAL 2-0.

Andreas Cornelius scored a hat-trick as Parma thrashed Genoa 5-1. Juraj Kucka and Dejan Kulusevski also scored for Parma, while Andrea Pinamonti scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

A superb strike from Hakan Calhanoglu put Milan ahead against Lecce before Khouma Babacar equalised just after the hour mark. Krzysztof Piatek thought he’d won the game for Milan on 81 minutes, only for Marco Calderoni to hammer in a long-range effort in added-time to rescue a point for Lecce.

Monday Night Football

Brescia held Fiorentina to a goalless stalemate on Monday night. Despite the visitors registering 13 shots and dominating possession, Fiorentina couldn’t find a way through a stubborn Brescia defence.
