Liverpool maintained their 100% record with victory at Burnley while Manchester City and Leicester both remain unbeaten.

Watford picked up their first point of the season while there were draws for Manchester United and Chelsea.

A thrilling north London derby saw Arsenal and Spurs share the points as Crystal Palace and West Ham both secured back-to-back wins.

Saturday’s Round-Up

In Saturday’s early kick-off, Daniel James scored another spectacular goal as Manchester United were held to a draw by Southampton. Jannik Vestergaard leveled for the Saints just before the hour mark and Kevin Danso was also sent off with quarter of an hour to go.

There was another red card in the match between Crystal Palace and Aston Villa as Trezeguet was sent off for two bookable offenses. Jordan Ayew scored the only goal of the game on 73 minutes before Villa had a goal disallowed late on.

Tammy Abraham bagged a brace but it wasn’t enough to see Chelsea beat Sheffield United. A late Kurt Zouma own goal rescued a point for the Blades after Callum Robinson scored just after half-time.

First-half goals from Will Hughes and Fabian Schar saw Watford and Newcastle share the points on Tyneside as the Hornets picked up their first point of the season.

Manchester City ran riot with a 4-0 victory against Brighton. Goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero (2) sealed a comfortable win for the champions.

Sebastien Haller scored his third goal in two games as West Ham beat Norwich with a completely dominant display. Andriy Yarmolenko also got on the score sheet for the Hammers.

Two brilliant Jamie Vardy goals helped Leicester to a 3-1 win over Bournemouth. Callum Wilson levelled for the Cherries after 15 minutes but Youri Tielemans put the Foxes in the lead just before half-time.

In Saturday’s late kick-off, Liverpool cruised to a 3-0 victory over Burnley. A Chris Wood own-goal was followed by strikes from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino to keep the Reds at the top of the table.

Super Sunday

Everton beat Wolves 3-2 in an exciting encounter at Goodison Park. Richarlison put the Toffees ahead before Romain Saiss levelled for Wolves. Alex Iwobi made it 2-1 with just 12 minutes on the clock before Richarlison grabbed his second goal of the game to cancel out a Raul Jimenez equzlizer.

Arsenal came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur in the final match of the weekend. Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane put Spurs in the lead before Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rescued a point for the Gunners.
