Leicester have chance to break clear this weekend

This Weekend Leicester have the chance to re-establish a five point league at the top of the Premier League table, as the Foxes host Norwich at the King Power Stadium.

None of their Premier League title rivals play on Saturday, so the Fixes could once again be five points at the top of the table. The pressure will then be on for Tottenham who host Swansea and Arsenal who visit Manchester United on Sunday.

Neither team have been renowned for their mental strength in the past, so should Leicester record a win against Norwich it will give them a major boost in the race for the title.

The Foxes suffered a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Arsenal last time out in the Premier League and this could be a test of their character. Claudio Ranieri’s side have proven all season their quality and the fact the side from the Midlands have suffered just three defeats shows their character.

Psychology is vital in title races and Leicester are new to being title challengers. However last season the team were under pressure to achieve results to stay in the top-flight and they showed remarkable resilience and character to end last season in  very good form.

Leicester have become the peoples champions. It seems that most neutrals want the Foxes to win the Premier League title this season. This weekend’s games could have a massive say in the way the race goes.

Leicester knows they are in pole position with two very winnable home games to come in the next week. On Saturday it could very much be advantage Leicester in the race for the English top-flight title.
