Moise Kean could fulfil his potential in Paris

Everton head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is open to young striker Moise Kean leaving the Toffees on a permanent basis to join French club PSG. The 20-year-old has spent most of the season on-loan in the French capital.

The youngster struggled to make an impact in his debut campaign on Merseyside after joining for a fee of £27million from Italian giants Juventus. When he arrived Kean was an exciting signing for the Merseysider’s, as he was regarded as one of the brightest young forwards in the world game.

The move to the English club looked like a good one for Kean’s development, as he would likely play on a more regular basis.

However, the youngster found it hard to break into the Everton first-team, making just six starts in the English top-flight, while also coming on as a substitute on 23 occasions. The appearances yielded just two goals and two assists in the Premier League.

The temporary switch to PSG seems to have revived his career, as the youngster was going nowhere sitting on the Everton substitutes bench.

Reports suggested that he was growing increasingly frustrated. The youngster is enjoying his time in Paris so far. He has scored 11 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions for PSG and has stated how much he enjoys playing and training with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the French capital.

The move seems to have lifted Kean’s confidence and he is enjoying his football again, something he never seemed to do at Everton.

The fact that Ligue One is less challenging than the Premier League and he is playing with better players have certainly been factors in his change in form.

It seems highly unlikely that Moise Kean will stay at Everton when he returns to the club in the summer. A permanent move to the French capital may well help the forward develop into the player that many believed he would become.
