    Italian boss Antonio Conte has enjoyed a very strong start to his career as Blues boss. The London side are running away with the Premier League title, having established a ten point lead at the top of the table.

    With the Blues now into the last four of the FA Cup, Conte’s team are now perfectly positioned to win the double this season. Not even Conte himself could have predicted his side’s fantastic debut campaign.

    The former Juventus and Italy boss has revived the team’s fortunes with the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa back to their best and summer signing Kante in top form.

    With none of their top four rivals showing any sort of consistent form at the moment the Blues could comfortably win the English title. Their FA Cup draw has not been too harsh either, as although Tottenham are second in the table they have just lost top scorer Harry Kane to injury, which could see him sidelined for the semi-final.

    Chelsea are now favourites to win both competitions this season. If they play to their full potential then it will be highly difficult for anybody to stop the Blues recording a domestic double this season.

    The Blues have a number of advantages over their rivals, such as the fact that they could afford to rotate their squad in the league due to their big advantage at the top of the table. Another factor that may also be important is the fact that Conte’s team have no European involvement.

    It would certainly be foolish at this point of the campaign to back against the team from south west London claiming the domestic double.
