PSV set for a comfortable win over BATE Borisov
On Wednesday night, PSV Eindhoven host BATE Borisov in the Champions League play-off round second leg, as both sides look to make it to the group stages of the competition.
The Dutch side recorded a 3-2 win in Belarus to take control of the tie, and the home side are favourites to progress to the group stages of Europe’s elite competition.
PSV’s win in the first leg of the competition ended an eight-game run without a win in the Champions league for the home side. The home side had also lost four of their previous six games in the competition, with their last appearance in the Champions League coming back in 2016.

The visitors have won three of their last four away games in this competition, but those wins are their only away victories in 21 outings on their travels in the Champions league. Their recent away games in the competition have been relatively high scoring with over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last six games on their travels.
