Manchester United could seal their place in the Champions League knockout stages with a victory over Benfica on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

Benfica have endured a nightmare Champions League campaign so far, losing all three of their group games. A big problem for the Portuguese side has been scoring goals, as they have scored just once in this season’s competition.
Benfica’s Champions League record dating back to last season is extremely poor. The visitors have won just one of their last seven Champions League games while suffering five defeats in the process.
The team from the Portuguese capital have also won just one of their last six away games in the competition while suffering four defeats in that run.
