Inter to record win over Sampdoria

On Tuesday night, high-flying Internazionale host Sampdoria at the Giuseppe Meazza, as the Nerazzurri look to move to the top of the Serie A table.
Inter have been in fine form this season and currently sit in second place in the Italian top-flight. Last time out in Serie A Luciano Spalletti’s side recorded a very creditable goalless draw at early pacesetters Napoli.
The draw in Naples means that Inter are now 11 games unbeaten in Serie A, having won nine of those undefeated games. Spalletti’s team have also been prolific in front of goal of late in Serie A, scoring at least two goals in eight of their last 11 league games.
The men from Milan also have a formidable recent home record in Serie A, recording five consecutive wins on home soil, while scoring two or more goals in four of the five wins.
Sampdoria have won three of their last four games in the Italian top-flight, including a 5-0 trouncing of Crotone last time out in Serie A. Marco Giampaolo’s team have also been high scoring in those three wins, scoring at least twice in the victories.
Despite their recent good form, Samp have a poor away record in Serie A, having won just one of their last eight away games on their travels in the league. The visitors have also failed to score in their last two away games in Serie A at Verona and Udinese.
Inter have been in fine form this season and it is difficult to see past a home win. However, Sampdoria some at least make this a competitive game. Forebet predicts a home win.
