Following plenty of uncertainty surrounding the fixture schedule, we now have a mammoth Double Gameweek to look forward to over the coming days.

With Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester, Man Utd and Southampton all playing twice in Gameweek 35, there are countless opportunities to pick up extra points.

Here are the Gameweek 35 fixtures.

• Leicester vs. Newcastle

• Leeds vs. Tottenham

• Sheff Utd vs. Crystal Palace

• Man City vs. Chelsea

• Liverpool vs. Southampton

• Wolves vs. Brighton

• Aston Villa vs. Man Utd

• West Ham vs. Everton

• Arsenal vs. West Brom

• Fulham vs. Burnley

• Southampton vs. Crystal Palace

• Man Utd vs. Leicester

• Chelsea vs. Arsenal

• Aston Villa vs. Everton

Given that eight teams are playing twice in Gameweek 35, it makes sense to only target players who are likely to be involved in two matches.

With that in mind, here are the top FPL picks for Gameweek 35.

Goalkeepers

Edouard Mendy (Chelsea), Vicente Guaita (Crystal Palace) Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) and Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) all look set to play both games for their respective sides in the Double Gameweek.

Ederson (Man City) is an obvious option, while Nick Pope (Burnley) is highly likely to keep a clean sheet against low-scoring Fulham this weekend.

Defenders

Matt Targett (Aston Villa) could enjoy plenty of success in Gameweek 35, both in defence and attack. Teammates Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa) and Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa) has also scored well this season.

Ben Chilwell (Chelsea), Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Reece James (Chelsea) and Kurt Zouma (Chelsea) are all among the highest-scoring FPL defenders this term – and they all play twice in Gameweek 35.

Serge Aurier (Tottenham) was the top-scoring defender in the previous round, picking up 14 points. Benjamin Mendy (Man City) and Jonny Evans (Leicester) also performed well.

Midfielders

There is no denying that Gareth Bale (Tottenham) was the star of Gameweek 34. His hat-trick against Sheff Utd saw him pick up 21 points last weekend.

Kai Havert (Chelsea) bagged a brace to claim 16 points, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) returned to winning ways last time out – accumulating 12 points.

If you’re looking a solid different pick, James Ward-Prowse (Southampton) is definitely worth considering.

Forwards

It goes without saying that you need to have Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) in your team at the moment. The in-form Fox has netted 14 goals in his last 15 appearances in all competitions.

Michail Antonio (West Ham) grabbed a double against Burnley on Monday, while Danny Welbeck (Brighton) picked up 12 points in the previous round.

Edinson Cavani (Man Utd) appears to have hit form at just the right time and is likely to be included in both of the Red Devils’ matches in the coming days.
