Believe it or not – we only have five FPL Gameweeks remaining this season. Gameweek 34 kicks off on Friday, April 30, with Southampton hosting Leicester City.

Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United is undoubtedly the standout tie of the round, but there are plenty of other interesting matchups to assess.

Here are the Gameweek 34 fixtures.

• Southampton vs. Leicester

• Crystal Palace vs. Man City

• Brighton vs. Leeds

• Chelsea vs. Fulham

• Everton vs. Aston Villa

• Newcastle vs. Arsenal

• Man Utd vs. Liverpool

• Tottenham vs. Sheff Utd

• West Brom vs. Wolves

• Burnley vs. West Ham

Let’s take a look at the top picks for FPL Gameweek 34.

Goalkeepers

Following last weekend’s Carabao Cup success, Ederson (Man City) returns to action with a favorable fixture against low-scoring Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) is also worth considering, with Spurs coming up against the league’s lowest scorers – Sheffield United.

Illan Meslier (Leeds) will be confident of building on last weekend’s clean sheets against Man Utd when Leeds face struggling Brighton.

Defenders

Ben Chilwell (Chelsea) was the highest scoring defender in the previous round, notching a clean sheet and an assist against West Ham last weekend.

Ben Godfrey (Everton), Timothy Castagne (Leicester) and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Man Utd) are also among the league’s in-form defenders at the moment.

Spurs defenders are likely to enjoy success against Sheff Utd this weekend, so Sergio Reguilon and Serge Aurier are worth considering.

Midfielders

Dwight McNeil (Burnley) bagged two assists against Wolves last time out, taking his tally for the season to two goals and five assists. He is a solid budget option.

Ashely Westwood (Burnley) also got on the scoresheet last weekend, as did Matheus Pereira (West Brom) and Anwar El Ghazi (Aston Villa).

Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) remains the highest scoring FPL player this season, boasting a whopping 221 points – three more than Harry Kane (Tottenham).

Forwards

Chris Wood (Burnley) was the star of Gameweek 33, netting a hat-trick against Wolves. He now sits on ten goals for the season.

If you haven’t got Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) in your team, get him in! The Nigerian has scored 14 goals in his last 14 appearances in all competitions.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Timo Werner (Chelsea) and Richarlison (Everton) have also been among the goals recently.
