Fantasy football returns this weekend following a two-week lay-off due to the international break – and there are plenty of exciting fixtures to enjoy.

Chelsea and West Brom kick off the Gameweek 30 action at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, before Wolves and West Ham wrap things up on Monday night.

• Chelsea vs. West Brom

• Leeds vs. Sheff Utd

• Leicester vs. Man City

• Arsenal vs. Liverpool

• Southampton vs. Burnley

• Newcastle vs. Tottenham

• Aston Villa vs. Fulham

• Man Utd vs. Brighton

• Everton vs. Crystal Palace

• Wolves vs. West Ham

Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal is undoubtedly the standout tie of the round, although plenty of other matches have the potential to win us FPL points.

Let’s take a look at the top FPL picks for Gameweek 30.

Goalkeepers

Of course, Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) is an excellent choice this weekend. Chelsea have been keeping clean sheets for fun under Thomas Tuchel – and struggling West Brom are up next for the Blues.

Emi Martinez (Aston Villa) will be confident of keeping a clean sheet against low-scoring Fulham, while Fraser Forster (Southampton) and Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) also face blunt attacks this weekend.

Defenders

Marcos Alonso (Chelsea) has been a key performer since Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge. The marauding left-back is a capable of picking up both defensive and attacking points.

Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Stuart Dallas (Leeds) and Lucas Digne (Everton) are also among the in-form defenders in the Premier League right now, with the former recently making his England comeback.

Believe it or not – Aaron Creswell (West Ham) is the highest scoring FPL defender this season. He leads Man City trio Ruben Dias, John Stones and Joao Cancelo.

Midfielders

Raphina (Leeds) has bagged six goals and five assists this term, making him an excellent budget pick in midfield, along with team-mates Jack Harrison and Mateusz Klich.

Man Utd are bound to enjoy plenty of success against struggling Brighton this weekend, meaning Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are both worth considering.

Ilkay Gundogan (Man City) scored again for Germany in midweek, while Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) looks set to return from injury to face relegation-threatened Fulham on Sunday.

Forwards

Having scored for England last time out, Harry Kane (Tottenham) could have a field day against Newcastle. The Spurs striker already has a whopping 17 goals and 13 assists in the Premier League this term.

Patrick Bamford (Leeds), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Michail Antonio (West Ham), Danny Ings (Southampton) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) are also in line to pick up points this weekend.
