There have been nine Gameweeks crammed into just over a month since the campaign resumed, but we have finally reached the final round of the season. It’s been a crazy season for Fantasy Football fanatics, but it’s not over just yet!

Below are a number of in-form players for you to consider for the final round of the campaign. And don’t forget, the transfer deadline for Gameweek 38+ plus ends at 15:00 (BST) on Sunday, July 26.

Goalkeeper

Emiliano Martinez – Arsenal

Things didn’t look good for Arsenal when first-choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno was stretchered off against Brighton in the first game back after the lay-off. But Martinez has been immense between the sticks for the Gunners ever since. The Argentine has kept three clean sheets in the league so far and also kept out free-scoring Man City in the FA Cup.

Defenders

Erik Pieters – Burnley

Burnley have had plenty of injury problems this season, but it doesn’t seem to have affected their defensive solidity. Erik Pieters may not be a first-choice for Sean Dyche, although he has performed admirably throughout the run-in. He will be hoping to keep a fifth clean sheet in eight games against low-scoring Brighton on Sunday.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Liverpool

Four goals and 13 assists in 37 games is a remarkable return for a defender, but TAA will be eager to add to his tally on the final day of the season. The right-back scored a brilliant free kick and notched up an assist against Chelsea last time out, and he is likely to play a pivotal role against Newcastle this weekend.

Midfielders

Michail Antonio – West Ham United

After only managing to score two goals in his first 17 Premier League appearances this term, Michail Antonio has now netted eight in his previous six outings. The versatile Hammers man has arguably been the division’s in-form player since the restart, and with West Ham now safe, he can play with freedom on the final day.

Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City

Kevin De Bruyne has enjoyed another outstanding campaign, notching up 11 goals and 19 assists in 34 top-flight appearances this term. However, he isn’t finish just yet. The Belgian magician is only two goals shy of Thierry Henry’s assist record for a single Premier League campaign, so he will be desperate to add to his tally against bottom club Norwich on Sunday.

Forwards

Danny Ings – Southampton

Remarkably, Danny Ings is still in contention for the Golden Boot. Granted, the Southampton striker will need to score two and hope that Jamie Vardy doesn’t score on the final day to move level with the Foxes’ striker. But having netted six in eight since the resumption, you’d be foolish to leave him out of your team for the final round.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Arsenal

Aubameyang is also in the running for the Golden Boot, although he currently sits one goal behind Ings and three behind Vardy. However, with struggling Watford up next for Arsenal, the Gabon marksman stands an excellent chance of chasing down his rivals. Let’s be honest, we wouldn’t be surprised if he scored a hat-trick on Sunday, would we?
