Fantasy Premier League Picks – Gameweek 32+
4812

Following the lengthy lay-off, we are already beginning to discover which players have returned from the break in good form. So, let’s take a look at some of the Premier League stars who have caught the eye since the restart.

Don’t forget, the FPL Gameweek 32+ transfer deadline ends at 11:30 (BST) on June 27, so make sure you’ve made your changes at least one hour before Aston Villa vs. Wolves on Saturday.

Goalkeeper

Nick Pope - Burnley

Nick Pope kept his 12th Premier League clean sheet of the season last time out – only Liverpool’s Alisson has more. The England goalkeeper has been a rock for Burnley this term, and with the division’s second-lowest scorers up next for the Clarets, Pope could well add to his clean sheet tally on Monday.

Defenders

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Manchester United

Manchester United continued their top-four chase with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sheffield United in midweek, with Wan-Bissaka registering an assist and a clean sheet in that game. The right-back's progression at Old Trafford has been eye catching, and he has become an integral part of Solskjaer’s team.

Jonny – Wolverhampton Wanderers

Jonny was injured before the campaign was put on hold, but he has returned after the break fully fit. The Spaniard already has two full 90 minutes under his belt, and he’ll be confident of picking up more points when Wolves play West Midlands rivals and relegation-strugglers Aston Villa on Saturday.

Midfielders

Christian Pulisic – Chelsea

Frank Lampard has chopped and changed his starting XI throughout the campaign, so Pulisic hasn’t always featured for Chelsea in his debut season with the club. The 21-year-old was injured before the break, but he has scored in both of the Blues games since the restart and appears to be in favour with Lampard at the moment.

Anthony Martial – Manchester United

Following an excellent hat-trick against Sheff Utd last time out, you’d be foolish to leave Anthony Martial out of your team this week. The Frenchman will be brimming with confidence after netting his first treble for Man Utd and will be eager to add to his tally against relegation-threatened Brighton next up.

Forwards

Danny Welbeck – Watford

Danny Welbeck has spent the majority of the 2019/20 campaign sidelined through injury, but had has returned from the unexpected lay-off with a spring in his step. The former Arsenal forward looks set to play a key role in Watford’s Premier League survival bid in the coming weeks; a good budget option.

Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur

The England captain was back amongst the goals as Spurs beat London rivals West Ham on Tuesday. Let’s be honest, it was never going to take him long to rediscover his form after returning from injury. Kane has only made 22 Premier League appearances this term, but he has 12 goals to his name. With an average of more than a goal every other game, it goes without saying that he is worth having in your team.
