Fiorentina and Roma Battle it Out in a Massive Game for a Top 5 Spot in Serie A

A massive game goes down in Serie A this weekend with Fiorentina and Roma battling it out in Florence with the two sides aiming for another spot in the European competitions, and Forebet has grouped together all of the data, analysis and football predictions for this match.

Ahead of the game, Fiorentina are down in eighth but far from incapable of getting back in the European spots for next season.

Sixth is currently only four points away, while Roma themselves in fifth are only five clear of Fiorentina.

The Florence side were sitting fourth towards the end of November, but form on the domestic front has slipped in the past few months after a sensational start to the season.

Nevertheless, they also got a sensational result in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

Last time out in Serie A, the Florence outfit drew 0-0 with Torino, although they did manage to defeat Lazio before this with a goal each from Michael Kayode and Giacomo Bonaventura.

Other results in February, however, meant they slipped further away from the top four with a defeat to fellow European hopefuls Bologna, a draw with Empoli and a loss away at Lecce.

They did, however, also smash Frosinone 5-0 before this as Andrea Belotti scored alongside finishes from Jonathan Ikone, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Nicolas Gonzales and Barak once more.

Roma themselves got a fantastic result during the week in Europe, but while Fiorentina let in three in the Europa Conference League, the men from the capital bagged themselves four and kept a clean sheet against Brighton & Hove Albion.

It all but guaranteed a spot in the next round for them, as Roma look for a third consecutive European final.

Paulo Dybala scored that day alongside finishes from Romelu Lukaku in the first half and finishes in the second 45 from Gianliuca Mancini and Bryan Cristante.
